Home bakers create 150,000 cookies for underprivileged communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cj.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Kuih-Raya-Dari-Hati_-beneficiary-1.jpg\" alt=\"MyKasih spread Raya cheer with Cadbury Dairy Milk\" class=\"wp-image-144521\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This Raya season, women from low-income communities baked their way to making a difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beneficiaries of the MyKasih Foundation, these passionate home bakers created 150,000 Raya cookies in a collaboration with Cadbury Dairy Milk\u2018s \u201cKuih Raya Dari Hati\u201d (Baking From The Heart) initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Empowering women, spreading joy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cj.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Kuih-Raya-Dari-Hati_-beneficiary-3.jpg\" alt=\"MyKasih spread Raya cheer with Cadbury Dairy Milk\" class=\"wp-image-144522\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>MyKasih, a renowned non-profit, empowers underprivileged women through cashless food aid programs and skills training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative identified talented home bakers from People\u2019s Housing Projects (PPR) in Lembah Subang and Seri Pantai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThese ladies are determined to improve their lives,\u201d shared See Mei Sin, Marketing Head for Mondel\u0113z International (Malaysia &amp; Singapore).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re inspired by their dedication and hope this project inspires others to support local communities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A sweet collaboration<\/strong> for Raya<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cj.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/MyKasih_Cadbury.jpg\" alt=\"MyKasih spread Raya cheer with Cadbury Dairy Milk\" class=\"wp-image-144523\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Over two weeks, the bakers crafted 2,000 tubs of delicious Raya cookies, including Cadbury Chocolate and Cheese Tarts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These treats were purchased by Cadbury Dairy Milk and distributed to over 30 welfare homes and underprivileged communities with the help of Food Aid Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nur Sharzi Bashar, a baker from Lembah Subang PPR, expressed her gratitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cj.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Kuih-Raya-Dari-Hati_-beneficiary-2.jpg\" alt=\"MyKasih spread Raya cheer with Cadbury Dairy Milk\" class=\"wp-image-144524\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis is more than just money,\u201d she said. \u201cEvery cookie reminds us of the lives we touch. It keeps my late sister\u2019s dream of opening a cafe alive.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MyKasih plays a vital role in supporting low-income families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They\u2019ve assisted over 750,000 families through food aid, education, and skills training programs.
