Financial literacy is a vital part of our work aimed at helping families make the most of the year-long food aid they receive.
In collaboration with the National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN), MyKasih facilitates personal finance workshops under the SMARTBelanja@LPPKN programme.
These workshops cover key topics such as budgeting, saving, managing debt, understanding loans and insurance, differentiating between needs and wants, good and bad investments, as well as short-term choices and long-term goals.
MyKasih also joins forces with NGO partners such as Pusat Penyayang Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara, MalaysiaCARE, and Jaringan Orang Asal SeMalaysia to bring financial literacy to both urban and rural communities — including Orang Asli villages adopted under our Love My Neighbourhood food aid programme.
